Why the company exists
Know more about the vehicle before deciding.
The concern
One concern behind Auto Range was the risk of buyers receiving heavily damaged auction vehicles that had been repaired and resold without the buyer knowing the extent of the earlier damage.
The response
For auction vehicles, Auto Range shares the auction information, arranges a physical inspection when the customer is interested, discusses the report, and only bids after the customer's approval. Dealership vehicles add another sourcing option and also proceed only after the customer gives the go-ahead.
The route
Once a vehicle is secured, its location helps determine the closest practical one of the company's six U.S. shipping points, limiting unnecessary inland towing before onward shipping to the customer's destination worldwide.
01
Source across channels
Auto Range is licensed to buy from COPART and IAA and can also source vehicles from U.S. dealerships, giving customers more than one buying route.
02
Inspect before an auction bid
When a customer is interested in an auction vehicle, a representative goes to its location, inspects it physically and reports back before the customer decides whether to bid.
03
Route with purpose
After a vehicle is secured, its U.S. location helps determine the closest practical one of Auto Range's six shipping points before onward shipping to the customer's destination worldwide.
Operating principle
Find it. Review it. Approve it. Then we buy.
